Beautiful parkland golf course with extensive views. 18 holes, 6415 yards, Par 72. Practice ground. Founded in 1894, and situated on the Dorset / Somerset border. Part of the original course was designed by James Braid, but it has been continually improved and extended over the years. Sherborne Golf is a test for even the very best of golfers. The stunning setting alone is enough to leave you needing to catch your breath with views over the Blackmore Vale to the south and Glastonbury Tor and beyond to the north. Visitors should telephone in advance and a golf handicap certificate is required. Thursday is Ladies' Day.
