Open 1st April – 31st October. Open every day except Mondays & Fridays (but open on BH Mondays) from 11am. The castle opens on Saturday from 2:30pm. Located on New Road (B3145), off the A352, 1 mile SE of town centre. Set in magnificent parkland and home of the Digby family since 1617. Built by Sir Walter Raleigh, the castle contains a fine collection of pictures, porcelain and treasures. Many special events throughout the year including outside theatres and shows.
